i-Med is excited to announce that our MIT Zuid R&D project "NOCTUA" grant application has
been approved. This funding will allow us to significantly enhance the NOCTUA project and maintain our competitive edge, says Jaap Heukelom, the commercial director of i-Med.
The acronym NOCTUA stands for “Next-generation Optical Core Technology for Ultra-precise Applications”. Over the next two years, the project will focus on developing the next generation of the highly successful Digital Head-mounted Microscope for surgeons and dentists.
The NOCTUA Development Project will be carried out in close collaboration with CIN-ergy, our development and engineering partner specializing in electronics, optics, and mechanics. i-Med is also grateful for the support of the Ignite Group in facilitating the application process.
